Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a skilled Echocardiographer to perform Echo, Stress Echo, TEE and Doppler studies. You will work across the Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP/Cath Lab, OR and ICU, including bedside assessments of patients.

Requirements include a Cardiovascular Technology degree or equivalent, BLS, and ARDMS/RDCS/RCS registry within 12 months of hire. Experience may substitute for formal education where allowed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in cardiovascular technology or equivalent.
• Echo Tech experience may substitute for formal education.
• ARDMS/RDCS/RCS adult echocardiography registry required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, Transesophageal (TEE) Echocardiogram, and Doppler ultrasound.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and at the bedside.

Education

Cardiovascular Technology degree or equivalent (Bachelor's/Associate)
