Job summary

Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior Echocardiographer to perform comprehensive echocardiography studies including stress echo and transesophageal echo, with Doppler imaging. The role spans non-invasive labs, EP and Cath Lab, OR and ICU, and bedside assessments.

At least 3 years of experience, ARDMS/RDCS/RCS within 12 months, and BLS required. Education options include Bachelor's or Associate in Cardiovascular Technology, or applicable Echo Tech experience in lieu of

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience required.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Cardiovascular Technology; high school diploma with Echo Tech experience accepted.
• ARDMS, RDCS or RCS certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Echo and Stress Echo tests, TEE Echocardiograms, and Doppler ultrasound.
• Work in Cardiac Non-Invasive Lab, EP and Cath Lab, OR, ICU and bedside with patients.
