Job summary

KinderCare Education LLC is seeking a Sr. Teacher to lead curriculum implementation and mentor fellow teachers in a dynamic early childhood setting in Eldersburg, MD.

You will partner with families to provide exceptional care and education for each child, while maintaining a safe, nurturing classroom environment. You will guide staff toward enrollment goals, maintain compliance with licensing, and contribute to a positive learning culture across our centers.

Qualifications

• 6 months of center-based ECE experience.
• Ability to supervise children in a classroom as required by state.
• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with children and parents.
• Must be physically able to lift 40 pounds and engage in activities with children.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum to fit each child's needs.
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success by working with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
