KinderCare Learning Companies in Eldersburg, MD, is seeking a Sr. Teacher to lead curriculum implementation and create a safe, nurturing classroom where children can grow and explore.

You will mentor fellow teachers, collaborate with parents and center staff, and help drive enrollment and quality care. This role rewards hands-on leadership, safety focus, and meaningful family connections.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of center-based ECE experience.
• Meet state-specific requirement to supervise children alone in a classroom.
• Outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• Read, write, understand and speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Physically able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
