Job summary

Springfield Technical Community College seeks an Early College CTE Pathways Counselor to provide comprehensive support and guidance to Early College and dual enrollment students. The Pathways Coach will implement programs, trainings, and workshops to help students start each semester successfully and stay on track toward goals.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with college and/or high school students.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in enrollment and retention of Early College CTE Pathways students.
• Conduct workshops and trainings with high school staff, parents and students regarding career pathways program and STCC campus resources.
• Assist with college and career readiness workshops and activities with admissions, career services and enrollment services.
• Coordinate development and updates to Perkins Local Needs Assessment and meetings with area schools.
