You will review submissions, underwrite renewals, and develop programs with agents while pursuing growth and profitability goals. Travel to agency offices and marketing events is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Completion of general insurance courses such as CPCU, CIC, AU, ARM, CPIW, CWIS, or ASLI is preferred.
• Six years related experience or five years as an underwriter, excess & surplus lines preferred.

Aufgaben

• Reviews risks with agents or programs; decline or accept based on information.
• Achieves production and loss ratio goals within territory; quotes, prices and underwrites policies.
• Handles policy maintenance items and endorsements; reviews loss control reports and claims activity.
• Maintains relationships with general agents and travels for audits or marketing visits.
• Markets Nationwide products and assists with pipeline management and new business development.
