Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of liability underwriting experience, preferably high-hazard or E&S experience.
• Knowledge of ISO coverage forms and underwriting risk for complex exposures.
• Strong understanding of pricing, risk analysis, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain flow of new business opportunities and manage broker relationships.
• Develop risk pricing by analyzing exposures and using pricing tools for new accounts.
• Meet budgeted financial results (premium, loss ratio, retention, pricing, new business).
• Identify corrective actions based on broker reviews, large loss analysis, or risk characteristics.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting strategies and regulatory requirements.
• Stay current on legal/regulatory changes and claim development to influence portfolio decisions.
• Provide responsive service to brokers with timely quotes and endorsements.
