Qualifications

• 7+ years of liability underwriting experience, preferably E&S.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• CPCU or related insurance designation preferred.
• Knowledge of E&S market, pricing and regulatory issues.
• Strong pricing, broker development and risk selection capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and manage a portfolio of hard to place liability risks.
• Develop new business through broker relationships and production sources.
• Analyze exposures, run pricing tools, compare to similar risks.
• Ensure compliance with underwriting strategies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain profitability through risk assessment and portfolio decisions.
• Provide timely and accurate quotes and endorsements.
