Job summary

Trium Holdings is seeking a Senior Underwriter to work remotely and collaborate with wholesale brokers to drive quality submission flow and price cat-exposed commercial E&S property business.

You will evaluate exposures, apply pricing discipline, and operate within granted authority while mentoring junior underwriters and building strong broker relationships. Travel about 20% as production goals require.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in commercial property underwriting and/or wholesale brokerage.
• Proven track record with wholesale brokers.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Deep property underwriting knowledge including perils and exclusions.
• Familiarity with CAT portfolio construction and ROE pricing.
• Structured risk evaluation with clear rationale.
• Goal-driven with ability to meet activity/outcome targets.
• Tech savviness and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Willingness to travel ~20% with self-directed travel scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite a profitable book of cat-exposed commercial E&S property business with disciplined pricing.
• Cultivate and maintain wholesale broker relationships and execute production strategy.
• Be responsive to broker partners and negotiate terms and conditions.
• Mentor and coach junior underwriters and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
