Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in commercial property underwriting and/or wholesale brokerage.
• Strong relationships with wholesale brokers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Deep property underwriting knowledge including perils and exclusions.
• Familiarity with CAT portfolio construction and pricing approach.
• Structured risk evaluation with clear rationale.
• Willingness to travel approximately 20%.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite a profitable book of primarily cat-exposed commercial E&S property business with pricing discipline and authority.
• Cultivate and maintain professional wholesale broker relationships to drive quality submissions within Trium's risk appetite.
• Be responsive to broker partners and negotiate terms to find mutually beneficial solutions.
• Mentor and coach junior underwriters and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
