Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Senior E&I Estimator to oversee lump sum, unit rate and cost plus estimates supporting proposals and project controls. You will coordinate estimating efforts across disciplines and assist in pre-construction activities, contributing to a robust estimating database.

The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, including estimating, with strong leadership and coordination skills across Engineering, Operations, Procurement, and Construction.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience, including estimating experience.
• Must be able to complete pre‑employment onboarding requirements (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Prepares cost estimates on proposals, projects and studies and ensures content is complete and accurate.
• Plan, coordinate, review, verify and analyze all aspects of estimates and estimate presentation.
• Responsible for directing, training and developing subordinates.
• Maintains familiarity with estimating and cost engineering developments.
