Job summary

Process in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior E&I Engineer to join our PSM-regulated site. You will be the senior EI&C resource on site working across maintenance, reliability, and projects.

You will support safe, reliable operation through design, maintenance, and continuous improvement of process control systems, instrumentation, and electrical distribution. On the controls side, design, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining DCS, PLC, HMI, and process historian hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Controls Engineering; 7–15 years ideal.
• Experience on a chemical/refining/LNG site.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve process control systems, instrumentation, and electrical distribution equipment.
• Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain DCS, PLC, HMI, and process historian hardware; develop logic, graphics, alarms, and operator interfaces.
• Manage control system backups, documentation, upgrades and migrations; analyze process data to improve control, efficiency, and reliability.
