Job summary

ENGIE North America Inc. is seeking an I&C Senior Engineer in Houston to support design, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems for utility and district energy assets.

You will work under senior engineers to develop designs, review deliverables, and support field activities for on-campus and capital projects. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in I&C, with PLC/SCADA/HMI exposure and knowledge of industrial standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Computer Engineering.
• Minimum five years of instrumentation and controls experience.
• Familiarity with SCADA, HMI, PLC/DCS and process automation.
• Knowledge of design standards such as UL/IEC/ISO/IEEE.
• Able to travel domestically up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of control systems for utility processes.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and integration of plant control systems.
• Review contractor I&C work for schedule and quality compliance.
• Document control system architectures and communication layouts.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Computer Engineering

5+ years I&C engineering experience
