Job summary

Strategy Engineering & Consulting, LLC seeks a Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Designer – Lead to spearhead the E&I design team on offshore and onshore oil and gas projects. You will own key deliverables such as PLC panel layouts and one-line diagrams, coordinating design efforts from concept through construction with project managers and leads.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Electrical & Instrumentation design with leadership experience.
• Ability to produce detailed design drawings and review vendor docs.
• Strong knowledge of offshore/onshore oil & gas facilities design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the E&I Design department, including team coordination and performance management.
• Provide technical direction on project deliverables and design oversight.
• Develop design estimates and LOE for new work and bids.
• Distribute work to the design team based on skills and project needs.
• Coordinate resource scheduling and monitor workloads to meet budgets and timelines.
• Perform electrical and instrumentation design for offshore and onshore facilities.
• Generate PLC panel layouts, wiring diagrams, and installation details.
• Interface with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure cohesive execution.
