Job summary

CGS Federal seeks a Senior Discovery IT System Administrator to join our Legal department in Arlington, VA. You will support electronic discovery applications, manage the infrastructure, and ensure uptime for critical legal workflows in a fast-paced government contractor environment.

You will work with Relativity and other platforms, coordinate with vendors to implement fixes, and contribute to knowledge management while assisting with data migrations and cloud-based services.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electronic discovery tools and related workflows.
• Ability to design, install, configure, and monitor IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of legal industry practices and EDRM concepts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily availability of e-discovery applications and tools.
• Administer and monitor systems, install and maintain OS and software.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, coordinate fixes with vendors.
• Maintain security, backups, and redundancy strategies.
• Support architecture discussions and vendor liaison for issues.
• Develop end-user training and knowledge articles.
• Support data migrations and integration of discovery tools.
• Manage databases including SQL Server and MySQL.
