Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a dedicated eDiscovery-focused programmer to deliver IT legal support for a large federal agency. You will independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs for litigation-support databases and related management and analytical systems.

We value professionals who can translate requirements into code, test and debug efficiently, improve processing times, and create user interfaces and reports to support litigation operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Substantial hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
• At least two years of directly applicable experience.
• At least three years of overall programming experience with large-scale database management systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred - in computer science or information management/technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain a complex program.
• Translate program requirements into program code.
• Test, debug, and refine programs to process data according to specifications.
• Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
• Develop data entry screens and user interfaces; implement reports and ad hoc reports.
