Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced IT professional to provide full-time eDiscovery and litigation-support programming for a federal agency. You will independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs, translate requirements into code, test and debug, optimize performance, and build UI screens and reports to meet written specifications.

Qualified candidates possess US citizenship, substantial programming experience, 2+ years directly applicable

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen
• Substantial hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used
• At least two years of directly applicable experience
• At least three years of overall programming experience with large-scale database management systems
• Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred - preferably in computer science or information management/technology

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, modify, and maintain a complex program
• Translate program requirements into program code
• Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications
• Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time
• Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces and implements standardized reports, and create and generate specialized and ad hoc reports as required
