Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced IT professional with a strong background in eDiscovery to deliver full-time legal support services for a federal agency. You will develop, modify, and maintain complex programs supporting litigation environment applications, including databases, management systems, and analytic tools.

We value independent contributors who translate requirements into code, test and debug effectively, and optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Requires substantial hands-on programming in the systems environment.
• At least two years of directly applicable experience.
• At least three years of overall programming experience, including large-scale DBMS experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree preferred (CS or IT).

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain complex programs for litigation support databases and related systems.
• Translate program requirements into code.
• Test, debug, and refine programs to process data per specifications.
• Revise programs to improve efficiency and reduce processing time.
• Develop data entry screens and user interfaces; generate standard and ad hoc reports.
