Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) seeks an experienced programmer to support a federal agency in the eDiscovery space. You will develop, modify, and maintain complex litigation-support programs and databases, with focus on efficiency, reporting, and interfaces for data processing in litigation environments.

The role requires U.S. citizenship, strong communication skills, and substantial hands-on programming experience in large-scale database systems.

Qualifications

• United States Citizen required.
• Hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
• At least 2 years of directly applicable experience.
• At least 3 years of overall programming experience including large-scale database management systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred - CS or information management/tech disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain a complex program.
• Translate program requirements into program code.
• Test, debug, and refine programs to process data per specifications.
• Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
• Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces and implement standardized reports, including ad hoc reports.
