Job summary

CGS is seeking an experienced IT professional with eDiscovery expertise to support a large federal agency. The role involves developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs for litigation environment applications, including databases and analytics systems.

The ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on programming experience, strong communication skills, and a CS/IT-related degree. This is a full-time, on-site position in a government contracting setting with a commitment to growth

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Substantial hands-on programming in the systems environment used.
• At least two years of directly applicable programming experience.
• At least three years of overall programming experience, including large-scale database management systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Undergraduate degree strongly preferred in computer science or information management/technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and maintain a complex program.
• Translate program requirements into program code.
• Test, debug, and refine programs to process data per specifications.
• Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
• Develop data entry screens and user interfaces; implement standardized reports and generate ad hoc reports.
