Job summary

CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced IT professional to provide eDiscovery support for a large federal agency. The role involves developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs to support litigation environment applications and reporting systems.

The candidate should have substantial programming experience in large-scale database environments, strong communication skills, and a US citizenship.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States Citizen.
• Substantial, hands-on programming experience in the systems environment being used.
• At least two years of directly applicable experience is required.
• At least three years of overall programming experience will generally be expected, including experience with large-scale database management systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, modify, and maintain a complex program.
• Translate program requirements into program code.
• Test, debug, and refine programs to process data in accordance with written specifications.
• Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
• Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces and implements standardized reports, and create and generate specialized and ad hoc reports as required.
