Job summary

Central Garden & Pet is seeking a Manager or Sr. Manager of Digital Analytics to support the digital measurement approach for Pet eCommerce. Our brands, including Kaytee, Nylabone, Adams, Comfort Zone, Aqueon, Farnam, and K&H, sell online across multiple marketplaces.

This role will turn reporting into an analytical decision engine and ensure AI-assisted accuracy. You will report to the VP of eCommerce, Pet, and manage a Sr.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in analytics, data engineering, or commercial analysis, including at least 1 year directing work others depend on.
• Strong SQL and Python, with ownership of a production data pipeline end to end: API ingestion, transformation, testing, reconciliation, monitoring.
• PowerBI with semantic model design, DAX, incremental refresh, RLS, deployment discipline.
• Practical use of large language models in analytical work and judging outputs.
• Retail, CPG, or eCommerce fluency with direct exposure to commercial decision making.

Responsibilities

• Own our digital measurement baseline across sales, share, traffic, conversion, and media efficiency across marketplaces.
• Engineer data pipelines across retailer portals, retail media platforms, POS, product data systems, and ERP.
• Publish reporting layer as a product: governed PowerBI models with versioned releases.
• Deliver reads that change decisions: category and item performance, promotional effectiveness, media incrementality.
• Apply AI to analytics: automate recurring analysis and executive summaries, build evals and checks.
• Build and maintain scorecards evaluating content quality, AI retrieval share, media incrementality.
• Manage and grow a Sr Digital Media Analyst and support commercial analysts.
