Job summary

Government Recruitment Service is recruiting a Senior Dynamics Developer to establish Dynamics capability within the team and insource development of applications for DVSA. You will join an in‑house team at its inception, shaping structure, training, and strategic direction while delivering mission‑critical Dynamics and Power Platform solutions.

You will contribute to modern development practices, work with suppliers and DVSA stakeholders, and help deliver essential digital services supporting

Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development using Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
• Experience delivering digital projects in a government context is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern cloud/mobile development.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and test software for frontline staff, aligning with DVSA needs.
• Collaborate with external suppliers and DVSA stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team and guide staff to achieve objectives.
• Act as a subject-matter expert for live issue resolution and best practices.

As a Senior Developer for Dynamics, you will be integral to establishing new Microsoft Dynamics capability within the team, supporting and developing current and future applications. Microsoft Dynamics is a key part of our technical roadmap. We are building an in‑house team with the vision of insourcing support and development of externally built applications, and the ability to produce internally developed applications and solutions. You'll have the opportunity to join the team at its inception, allowing you to actively shape its structure, training programs, and strategic direction. Our applications are instrumental in facilitating essential activities for DVSA staff. You will be part of our expanding Application Development team, which develops and maintains mission‑critical applications for DVSA.

Job Description

As a Senior Dynamics Developer, you will be designing, building, and testing software that makes a real difference to our frontline staff and helps improve road safety.

You will work collaboratively with external suppliers and DVSA stakeholders and to ensure the support and delivery of defined solutions.

You will be working within a multi‑disciplinary team using Agile delivery methodologies, delivering solutions focused on user needs.

You will have proven experience of software development, with a detailed knowledge Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
