Job summary

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer to develop DSP algorithms and FPGA-based designs for interface and data processing applications. The role supports multiple locations (TEWKSBURY or Marlborough, MA) and requires strong team collaboration across systems, hardware, and software disciplines.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in STEM and 8+ years of experience.
• Experience with DSP in FPGAs using VHDL/Verilog and simulation tools.
• Experience designing filters in Matlab.
• Familiarity with high-speed interfaces e.g., 100 GbE, PCIe, DDR.

Responsibilities

• Determine technical approach to meet system requirements for FPGA designs.
• Lead small teams and mentor engineers.
• Design and deliver production-grade FPGA releases from concept to production.
• Collaborate with systems, hardware, software engineers and program management.
