Job summary

CTS Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a Lead or Senior DSP Algorithms Engineer to join the Space, Intelligence and Weapons Systems teams in El Segundo, CA. You will design space-based communication systems and lead a team across internal trades, concept studies, and satellite unit development.

The role requires a BS in engineering and extensive DSP/digital communications experience, with leadership duties and collaboration with customers and suppliers across programs.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering or related field.
• Experience in DSP algorithms and digital communications.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink (3+ years).
• 5+ years in core digital communications and signal processing theory.
• 3+ years in systems engineering (requirements, allocation, verification, architecture).
• 1+ years with FPGAs or ASICs.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing RF and digital satellite communication systems.
• Developing and verifying multi-rate, fixed-point signal processing algorithms.
• Conducting performance analysis of signal processing models.
• Performing waveform development and characterization.
• Leading teams and IR&D activities.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
