Job summary

ACL Digital is seeking an experienced DSP Algorithms Engineer to design state-of-the-art space-based communication systems. You will lead a motivated team and collaborate with customers on satellite projects across lifecycle stages.

Responsibilities include RF and digital system design, waveform development, signal processing verification, and test support from unit through in-orbit operations, with leadership duties for engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• Experience in DSP / Digital Communications algorithms and techniques such as equalization, coding/decoding, channel estimation, and filter design.
• 3+ years of Matlab or Simulink experience.
• 5+ years of core digital communications and signal processing theory.
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements, allocation, verification, architecture, trade studies).
• 1+ years of FPGA or ASIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing RF and digital satellite communication systems.
• Developing and verifying multi-rate fixed-point signal processing algorithms.
• Performing waveform development and characterization.
• Supporting integration and test of payloads and spacecraft from unit to in-orbit operations.
• Leading teams and collaborating with customers, suppliers, and management.
