Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a final US Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 6+ years of experience with signal processing or image processing.
• 10+ years of experience with electronic systems engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop RF and digital satellite communication systems.
• Develop and verify multi-rate, fixed-point DSP architectures.
• Allocate, define and verify requirements for communication digital payloads.
• Develop performance and link budgets and conduct performance analyses.
• Execute payload subsystem trade studies to improve performance, cost, and schedule.
• Develop prototype demonstrations on communication subsystem testbeds.
• Plan unit-level integration and performance simulations.
• Support ASIC and FPGA level system design and verification.
• Support hardware procurement and design reviews.
