Job summary

Insight Global in Austin, Texas is seeking a Dry Etch Equipment Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment in a 24/7 production environment.

You will support tool uptime, process stability, and continuous improvement across multiple dry etch platforms, manage spare parts, document maintenance, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in an engineering or science-related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process-related issues on Dry Etch tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance per standardized work instructions.
• Use SPC charts and FDC systems to monitor tool performance.
• Document maintenance activities and contribute to work documentation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support area operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a 7x24 environment.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting, data analysis, and communication skills.
• Learn new skills and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Require Associate’s degree or higher in engineering or science.
• Minimum 5 years of semiconductor manufacturing experience.
