NXP Semiconductors in Austin, TX seeks an experienced equipment technician to troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures across Ulvac, Gasonics, Mattson, Fusion Gemini, AMAT and LAM dry etch tools. You will perform preventive maintenance, analyze tool performance with SPC/FabGuard, and document maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (or higher) in an engineering or science discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of NXP (or affiliate) experience may qualify in lieu of degree.
• Working knowledge/experience with Ulvac, Gasonics, Mattson, Fusion Gemini, AMAT (MxP, MxP+, IPS, DPS, Super E & 5200’s) & LAM (4400 & Coronus) Dry Etch tools.
• Experience with advanced electronics, equipment troubleshooting, installation, repair and operation of Semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Must be able to read schematics and complex drawings/diagrams.
• Must be physically capable of standing for long periods of time as well as lifting and carrying objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work well in a diverse team environment and multitask with minimal supervision while adjusting to changing priorities.
• Analytical problem solving and testing skills.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair hardware and process failures across listed tool sets.
• Perform preventive maintenance following standardized work documents.
• Use SPC charts and FabGuard Fault Detection data to evaluate tool performance.
• Document maintenance activities and improve standardized work documents.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and support area success.
• Interact with multiple disciplines in a 7x24 manufacturing facility.
