Job summary

BRINC is seeking a Lead Technician to drive production and refurbishment of our drone systems in Seattle. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee assembly, QA, and RMA, and troubleshoot complex issues across new and serviced products.

You will champion quality, safety, and process improvements, collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Support to minimize downtime and deliver reliable emergency-response technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering field with leadership experience in high tech manufacturing.
• Ability to diagnose and repair electronic and mechanical systems, read engineering drawings, and use test equipment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving and communication skills; capable of guiding a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary production technician team with task assignment and performance feedback.
• Oversee assembly and advanced production processes, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment including RMA handling.
• Perform in-depth diagnostics and complex repairs as a first-line technical resource for new and returned items.
• Ensure quality and safety standards, drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and ensure process compliance.
• Develop efficient workflows and drive hands-on process improvements across production.
• Coordinate with supply chain to maintain optimal stock levels of parts and tools for production and service.
• Maintain records and generate product performance reports; serve as a cross-functional liaison to engineering and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to root cause defects and implement the best business solutions.
