BRINC is seeking a Lead Technician to drive production and refurbishment of our drone systems in Seattle. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, oversee assembly, QA, and RMA, and troubleshoot complex issues across new and serviced products.
You will champion quality, safety, and process improvements, collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Support to minimize downtime and deliver reliable emergency-response technology.
At BRINC, we are building the technology that will define the future of emergency response. As a vertically integrated U.S. drone technology company, BRINC designs and manufactures unmanned aircraft systems, autonomous drone stations, command-and-control software, and advanced autonomy for public safety. Today, BRINC deploys Drone as First Responder (DFR) networks that dispatch drones directly to 911 calls, providing real-time aerial intelligence before ground units arrive and helping first responders make faster, safer decisions. BRINC serves more than 1,000 public safety customers across all 50 states, is the sole drone supplier to Motorola Solutions, and has raised more than $280 million from leading strategic and technology investors, including Motorola Solutions, Index Ventures, Sam Altman, Dylan Field, and others. BRINC is recruiting exceptional engineers to build the next generation of autonomous emergency-response technology, including flight-critical firmware and advanced pilot-assistance capabilities.
As a Lead Technician, you’ll be a key technical and operational leader, working across our drone product lifecycle, which spans design, assembly, production, advanced repair, and refurbishment. You’ll report directly to the Manufacturing Manager and collaborate with other Lead Technicians to ensure seamless operations.
In this dynamic role, you’ll lead process work across various areas, rigorously reviewing output for quality and adherence to established standards and procedures. You’ll also be responsible for facilitating daily team meetings, preparing end-of-shift reports, and coordinating efforts to minimize production interruptions.
You’ll play a vital role in overseeing production workflows, managing the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) process, and ensuring the highest quality standards for both new builds and serviced products. You’ll have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of technicians, troubleshoot complex challenges, and drive continuous innovation and process improvements.
