Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in Ohio is seeking an experienced Sr. Repair Technician for Prime Air to maintain drone fleets and ensure safe operation at the commercial site.

You will drive maintenance, manage parts, train technicians, and coordinate with engineering and flight ops. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working up to 12-hour shifts, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office).
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions, including outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Own fleet performance metrics
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory
• Train and mentor other Repair Technicians
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals
