Job summary

Amazon's Prime Air team seeks a Sr. Maintenance Technician to drive time-based and condition-based maintenance, own fleet performance metrics, and ensure FAA compliance across the drone delivery fleet.

You will manage spare parts, mentor repair technicians, and support shift rosters while adhering to safety and technical manuals. Must be able to travel up to 25% and work various shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (MS Office).
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Own fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Train and mentor other Repair Technicians.
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
