Job summary

Amazon Prime Air in Tracy, CA is seeking a Sr. Repair Technician who maintains drone aircraft, performs time-based and condition-based maintenance, and ensures safety and compliance with FAA directives.

You will work with engineering and operations to deliver on assigned responsibilities. You will train and mentor Repair Technicians, collaborating with teams to keep the fleet in peak condition while supporting travel and shift requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Experience with common business applications (Microsoft Office).
• Can carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Own fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Train and mentor other Repair Technicians.
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions in technical manuals.
