Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Sr. Drive Systems Engineer to lead multi-discipline teams delivering VSD and power semiconductor systems for large industrial applications. You will mentor engineers, support project management, and contribute to process improvements while collaborating with customers and suppliers.

A secret clearance will be required for US military contracts and up to 20% travel is expected. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in MV/LV VSD technology, experience with drive isolation

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years' experience with MV and LV VSD technology including drive isolation transformers, AC and DC VSDs, and motors.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline engineering team to deliver Variable Speed Drive solutions to customers.
• Provide or coordinate technical support to the Project Management team including internal and external presentations, change management, planning, and budget control.
• Mentor junior and graduate engineers and participate in process improvement initiatives.
