GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to diagnose and resolve issues on LV/MV variable frequency drives and associated control systems at customer sites. You will lead commissioning activities, develop procedures, and deliver on-site training to customers on drive operation.

This 100% remote-friendly role reports to the GE Energy Power Conversion USA Inc. team, with travel about 85% to domestic and international customer sites.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in field services or commissioning for power domains.
• Experience with drive systems including Low/Medium Voltage, VFDs, MCCs and PCCs.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and troubleshoot drive systems at customer sites and implement corrective actions.
• Lead on-site commissioning and testing of GE drive systems.
• Develop commissioning procedures, maintenance procedures, and daily logs.
• Provide customer training on drive operation and safe practices.
• Coordinate with service teams to identify upgrades and additional service opportunities.
