Job summary

GE Vernova in the United States is seeking a Sr. Drive Systems Engineer to lead multi-discipline teams of engineers and suppliers on large industrial variable speed drive and power semiconductor projects.

You will collaborate across engineering, project management, customers, and suppliers to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery. You will mentor junior engineers, support cost estimation, and contribute to process improvements while adhering to GE Vernova policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• 5+ years’ experience with MV and LV VSD technology including drive isolation transformers, AC/DC VSDs, and motors.

Responsibilities

• Leads a multi-discipline engineering team to deliver VSD solutions.
• Provides technical support to Project Management, including presentations, change control, and budgeting.
• Mentors junior engineers and contributes to process improvements.
• Ensures designs meet safety, performance, and quality standards.
