Parametrix in Oregon and Idaho seeks a Senior Drainage Engineer to lead transportation drainage design, mentor engineers, and grow our practice. You will work on highways, roadways, intersections, transit corridors, and multimodal projects, delivering practical drainage solutions with teammates across disciplines.

The role offers a hybrid schedule with potential based in Portland, Bend, Eugene, or Boise. A PE license is preferred or the ability to obtain licensure, with strong hydrology,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure in OR/ID.

Responsibilities

• Lead drainage and stormwater design for transportation projects (highways, roadways, intersections, transit corridors).
• Prepare and oversee drainage reports, calculations, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with roadway, structural, environmental, and other disciplines to integrate drainage solutions.
• Provide QA/QC for drainage deliverables and mentor junior engineers.
• Build relationships with transportation clients and agency partners to support proposals and pursuits.
