Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Stormwater Leader to drive stormwater design across our Oregon/Idaho region. The role blends technical leadership, mentorship, and business development within our Water team, reporting to the Water Division Manager.

It may be based in Portland, Bend, Eugene, or Boise, with a hybrid schedule to support collaboration with regional teams and clients. You will oversee drainage design for transportation projects, lead modeling and reporting, and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in stormwater and drainage design
• PE license in OR and/or ID preferred or ability to obtain
• Strong experience supporting transportation projects and familiarity with design standards
• Advanced proficiency in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software

Responsibilities

• Serve as regional technical lead for stormwater compliance, analysis, and design
• Lead stormwater and drainage design for linear infrastructure projects (roads, highways, light-rail, active transportation)
• Support site civil and community-building projects with stormwater expertise
• Oversee drainage reports, hydraulic modeling, stormwater management plans, analyses and construction documents
• Ensure compliance with state/local design standards and permitting requirements (ODOT, ITD, local)
• Provide QA/QC for stormwater-related deliverables
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers
• Support business development, including client engagement and proposal support
