Job summary

Parametrix is seeking a Stormwater Leader to oversee stormwater design across the Oregon/Idaho region. The role focuses on traditional and multi-modal transportation projects, with mentoring and business development responsibilities.

Positions may be based in Portland, Bend, Eugene, or Boise with a hybrid schedule to collaborate with regional teams and clients. The candidate brings 10+ years in stormwater and drainage design, a PE license, and strong experience with transportation projects and

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in stormwater and drainage design.
• PE license (Oregon and/or Idaho preferred or ability to obtain).
• Strong experience supporting transportation projects and familiarity with design standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional technical lead for stormwater compliance, analysis, and design.
• Lead stormwater and drainage design for linear infrastructure projects (road, highway, light-rail, active transportation).
• Support site civil and community building projects with stormwater expertise.
• Oversee drainage reports, hydraulic modeling, stormwater management plans, analyses and design, and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with state/local design standards and permitting requirements.
• Provide QA/QC for stormwater-related deliverables.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and designers.
• Support business development, client engagement, proposal support, and identifying opportunities.
