Job summary

Parametrix seeks a Stormwater Leader to drive stormwater design across the Oregon/Idaho region. You will serve as the regional technical lead, guiding drainage design for roads, rail and active transit, while mentoring staff and supporting business development.

The role blends technical leadership with project delivery and client engagement. The position ishybrid, with options based in Portland, Bend, Eugene, or Boise.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive stormwater and drainage design experience.
• PE license (Oregon and/or Idaho preferred or obtainable).
• Strong background in transportation-related projects and local design standards.
• Proficiency in hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Serve as regional technical lead for stormwater compliance, analysis and design.
• Lead stormwater and drainage design for linear infrastructure and transportation projects.
• Support site civil and community-building projects with stormwater expertise.
• Oversee drainage reports, hydraulic modeling, stormwater management plans and construction documents.
• Ensure compliance with state/local design standards and permitting.
• Provide QA/QC for stormwater deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Support business development and client engagement.
