GAI Consultants Inc. is seeking a Senior Drainage Engineer in Orlando, FL, offering hybrid work. You will lead FDOT transportation drainage and stormwater design, overseeing hydraulic analyses, pond siting, and environmental permitting from concept to delivery.

The role requires a P.E. license (FL) or reciprocity, 10+ years of experience, and proficiency with ICPR, HEC-RAS, MicroStation ORD Drainage, and GeoPAK Drainage. You will mentor staff and support Florida market growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or related discipline.
• Florida P.E. license or ability to obtain by reciprocity.
• 10+ years of transportation drainage engineering experience.
• Demonstrated FDOT project delivery in Florida.
• Strong authority in stormwater management, hydraulic analysis, drainage design, and permitting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead on complex transportation drainage projects.
• Direct stormwater management design and H&H analysis.
• Perform and oversee modeling with ICPR, HEC-RAS, MicroStation ORD Drainage, GeoPAK Drainage.
• Lead drainage permitting with FDOT and agencies.
• Mentor engineers and support licensure and career growth.
