Dewberry seeks a Senior Drainage Engineer in Orlando, FL to support our Transportation design practice. The role offers hybrid work options and opportunities to lead drainage analyses, develop plans and reports, and mentor staff.

You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver high‑quality projects for FDOT and other agencies. The successful candidate will have 7+ years of FDOT drainage experience, a Civil Engineering degree, and a Florida PE (or ability to obtain).

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master’s in water resources a plus.
• 7+ years of FDOT drainage/water resources design experience.
• Florida PE license preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire.
• Experience with FDOT drainage design criteria and permit requirements.
• Experience with ICPR, ASAD, SUDA, MicroStation, Geopak, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, Civil3D, CADD, ORD, GIS.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Engineer-of-Record, Senior Engineer, or Project Manager on Transportation projects as applicable.
• Perform and collaborate on drainage analyses with other staff.
• Prepare drainage plans, reports, quantities, costs, and specifications.
• QC reviews of design documents and plans.
• Coordinate across disciplines and manage client relationships.
