Egis seeks a senior drainage design engineer to lead highway and interstate drainage and stormwater projects in Florida and the Southeast. You will perform calculations, develop plans and cost estimates, and coordinate with FDOT and cross‑discipline teams to ensure quality and on‑time delivery.

The role requires a Florida PE, 8+ years in drainage design, and experience with MicroStation/OpenRoads Designer and ICPR. Travel across NC/region may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 8+ years of drainage design experience.
• Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• FDOT drainage design experience with Microstation, OpenRoads Designer, ICPR v3/v4, ASAD.
• Experience managing budgets, scope, and client relations is a plus.
• Proposals, fee schedules, and client reporting experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Develop highway and interstate drainage and stormwater projects.
• Perform drainage engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with project staff, FDOT, and reviewers to ensure quality.
• Manage project documentation, schedules, budgets, and scope.
• Develop client relationships and foster new business.
• Lead proposals, scope of work, and fee schedules.
• Attend client meetings across North Carolina.
