Job summary

Employment & Training Centers, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer and Project Manager with 10+ years of drainage design experience. You will lead projects from our Houston Office, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with other disciplines to produce quality designs and plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• 10+ years of drainage design experience.
• Experience developing PS&E for TxDOT projects.
• Texas PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 3+ years of project management and client service.
• 3+ years of mentoring junior staff.
• Experience using MicroStation and GEOPAK.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from the Houston Office.
• Train junior staff and direct other engineers.
• Interpret plans from survey, utility, and related disciplines.
• Perform drainage design and analysis.
• Produce plan sets and detailing.
• Oversee task, budget, schedule, and staff management.
• Maintain active client interaction.
