Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region is seeking a Senior Donor Database Specialist to lead the management and optimization of our Salesforce fundraising database. The role ensures data integrity, delivers actionable donor insights, and supports strategic fundraising decisions to drive revenue growth.

This position collaborates across teams to deliver an exceptional supporter experience and maintain accurate donor records, reports, and dashboards to guide development leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2-3 years’ experience with data entry and database management, preferably with Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge or equivalent.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Commitment to constant improvement.
• Ability to work quickly, under pressure and to deadlines.
• Key personality attributes: accuracy, enthusiasm for teamwork, positive and proactive attitude, critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical and organized.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Donor Database and leverage data to support donor engagement and revenue growth.
• Assist with Salesforce ticket queue and provide backup on Salesforce projects.
• Perform constituent record updates and integrate revenue, events, volunteers, and donor engagements.
