Job summary

Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region is seeking an Individual Giving Manager to lead the Builders Circle ($1,000+ donors) and our monthly giving program (The Crew). You will acquire, retain, upgrade, and steward donors to increase loyalty and lifetime value.

Working with the Director of Leadership Giving, you will manage a donor portfolio, support major gifts, drive engagement through personalized communications and stewardship, and analyze data to inform fundraising strategy.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive fundraising or development experience, including success in annual, mid-level, leadership giving, or donor relationship management.
• Demonstrated ability to cultivate, solicit, steward, and grow a donor portfolio, with a track record of increasing donor engagement, retention, and philanthropic investment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build meaningful, donor-centered relationships.
• Experience using donor databases and CRM systems to manage portfolios, track donor activity, analyze giving trends, and inform fundraising strategies; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and translate data into action.
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and mission-driven, with experience working across teams to support fundraising initiatives, events, and donor engagement opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant fundraising experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to grow the Builders Circle, with a focus on donor acquisition, retention, upgrades, and increased philanthropic support.
• Manage a portfolio of Builders Circle donors and prospects, executing personalized cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and recognition plans to achieve annual fundraising goals.
• Develop and implement donor outreach strategies that deepen relationships, increase engagement, and encourage renewed and increased giving.
• Collaborate with development, communications, volunteer engagement, and program staff to create meaningful donor experiences and ensure a seamless donor journey.
