Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Program Manager for the Cyber – Connected Battlespace Emerging Capabilities (CBEC) in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will lead multiple customer-funded programs and internal tech initiatives, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and alignment with evolving DoD priorities.

You will interact with DARPA, AFRL, NRL, NSA, and primes, guiding dispersed teams and pursuing new R&D opportunities while shaping future defense tech directions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher is required or equivalent
• Experience with EVMS program management and risk & opportunity management
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on complex programs
• Active and transferable Top Secret clearance required (U.S. citizenship)

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple customer-funded programs and internal tech initiatives within CBEC
• Ensure technical performance, budget, schedules, and contractual commitments
• Coordinate geographically dispersed teams and resolve challenges
• Drive growth through pursuit and capture activities with Business Development
• Interface with DoD S&T customers (DARPA, AFRL, NRL, NSA) and prime contractors
• Manage program financials, EACs, PMRs, and cost tracking
• Identify and manage risks and discretionary opportunities
• Travel up to 25% for program execution and engagement
