Job summary

RTX in the United States is seeking a Program Operations Manager (POM) for the Ground Based Radar Digitization program. The role oversees manufacturing strategy, BOM accuracy, and execution across factories to meet cost, schedule and technical targets.

Security clearance must be obtainable and citizenship is required. The position requires leadership, front-end business activity drive, and coordination with program teams to ensure On-Time Delivery and successful risk mitigation in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Engineering, and/or Program/Project Management with shop floor execution and resource planning systems.
• Experience with financials, budgets, risk & opportunity management, and EACs.

Responsibilities

• Shape, develop and execute strategies for product line to meet cost, quality and schedule goals.
• Drive capital strategy and manufacturing strategy (make/buy/where).
• Establish accurate BOM and executable build plan with program and factory teams.
• Create and manage executable manufacturing plan and address operation risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate gate reviews and implement strategies from early reviews into production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Own On-Time Delivery and develop recovery strategies as needed.
• Present program status to Monthly Management Reviews and stakeholders.
• Provide oversight and development for team members.
