GES is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and sustain enterprise LAN/WAN infrastructure in a DoD environment at Fort Belvoir, VA, with potential relocation to Albuquerque, NM. The role requires TS/SCI clearance and hands-on experience with Cisco routing/switching and Palo Alto firewalls.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, scalable networks, maintain RMF/STIG compliance, and support modernization efforts.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or equivalent).
• Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Cisco network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DNS/DHCP/IPAM, NAT, VLANs, QoS, OSPF, MPLS, and SASE.
• Hands-on experience configuring Palo Alto next-gen firewalls, including policies, NAT, threat prevention, and GlobalProtect.
• Experience implementing secure remote-access and site-to-site VPNs.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure.
• Engineer and support Cisco routing and switching environments for mission-critical networks.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing/switching technologies (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, HSRP/VRRP).
• Support WAN connectivity using MPLS, VPN, and Internet-based transport.
• Configure and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and GlobalProtect VPN solutions.
• Monitor network health, analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, and apply fixes.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity to ensure RMF/STIG compliance; support DoD policies.
• Participate in maintenance, incident response, and high-availability operations.
